1. Office of the Superintendent of BC Farmers Institutes, Lesley Edwards – invite to annual meeting and workshop of all BC Farmers Institutes Nov 29, 2019, Richmond BC.

2. BC Minister of Agriculture, Lana Popham - notification of launch of website for all farm institutes.

3. Chris Zabek, Superintendent of BC Farmers Institutes - details of the BC Farmers Website and how to registration for members area, Submissions for posting, including contact, events, photos, documents

4. Goodwin Studios – information about developing a website, including $1000 sponsorship offer.

5. Amy Lavigne – hoping to host their wedding at the park on June 20, 2020

6. Squamish Non Profit Network – Invitation to presentation on VOLUNTEER CONNECTOR – a web based program for recruiting and scheduling volunteers.

7. Caitlin Anderson – Squamish youth centre report - The teen activities booth went over well at the Fall Fair and was visited by over 50 people. The activity was enjoyed by over 20 youth, and 5 prizes were given out to the winners. The booth was great exposure for the Youth Centre, not only for youth who were there but also parents, guardians and community members. We've since had people visit the Youth Centre for our Community Open House and to join into our programs. We really appreciate being included and would love to support the fair again next year.

8. Derek Smith – BFI Park Report. Fireworks on Sept 29. Request to instruct our park protectors as to whom to call when that is happening. He trimmed some alder trees on trail.

9. DOS, Sarah Dicker Arts, Culture & Heritage –DOS has identified BFI as a key contributor to request to meet with board to AC7H experiences in the community. They would like to meet with BFI board for 30 minutes in October.

10. BC Govt Ministry of Agriculture – Information about Agriculture in the Classroom program that we can sponsor. “Spuds in Tubs” costs $100 per class; “Planting a Promise” costs $50 per class. We provide all of the materials and teacher lesson plans to be successful in growing and support teachers along the way each month to complete the seasonal requirements for growing these crops. Currently we have 5 teachers wanting to teach Spuds in Tubs in their classroom in Brackendale for the 2019-20 school year.
Also, we have 2 teachers wanting to teach the Planting a Promise (daffodil) program in their classroom in Brackendale this year.

11. DOS Community Enhancement Grant - reminder to submit applications.
